The greenest city on earth is heated by Geo-thermally heated water and is stored in these 5 tanks on the highest point in the Reykjavik area the Perlan (Pearl), with one being converted into a Viking museum and the upper floors restaurants. Above these on the roof is a viewing area that gives fabulous views of the whole of the Reykjavik area.
